Fiesta Baby Shower

I have been living in Milwaukee for 10 years now and developed quite a tribe of people here that we think of as family. Yes, I do have an aunt and a few cousins that call Milwaukee home, but for the most part, all of our family lives in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin.

Since Romy and I have set roots here in Milwaukee and this baby boy is going to know Milwaukee as his first home, it only seemed right that we had our baby shower in Milwaukee. Well, of course, that didn’t exactly go as planned, so we will be having two baby showers, one in our current home and one in our first home.

My Milwaukee baby shower was a real dream. I still can’t believe how amazing it turned out and how much our Milwaukee family spoiled us. So I give you some moments from our perfectly colorful and festive Fiesta Baby Shower.

A must for my baby shower was my footwear! I know, I know, so many people would NEVER buy their dream shoes for their baby shower, but it just seemed right. I had wanted the blue silk Hangisi Manolo Blahnik’s for our weddings, but at the time, I just couldn’t justify the cost. Welp, here we are 5 years later, and they seemed like the perfect fit for our baby shower honoring our baby boy.

No fiesta would be complete without a pinata! Yes, this pinata was filled with all your favorite Mexican things, including tequila!

I can’t thank all of these ladies enough for all they have done for Romy and I throughout the years, and we are so honored that they are going to be a part of Baby Reynebeau’s life.

And an EXTRA EXTRA special shout out this amazing lady for throwing such an amazing shower! Becka and I have been friends since high school. Not going to the same high school, but meeting through mutual friends. We worked at Buffalo Wild Wings, moved to Milwaukee at the same time, were roommates, went to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and have started our adult lives in Milwaukee. I honestly don’t know where I would be without her friendship throughout the years.  She has become more like a sister (even though she already has 3 ha!) going through all of our grownup moments together! I can’t wait for Baby Reynebeau to meet Aunt Becka and Uncle Justin.
