FASHION, LIFESTYLE, MILWAUKEE

Spring is in the Air

I just can’t get enough bright colors, floral embroidery, and bare legs. With Easter this Sunday, April 21st, I was on the HUNT for the perfect embroidered long sleeve dress, because hello Wisconsin, you are still cold and it’s mid-April. I found this Alex Marie beauty at Dillard’s, and I was in shock with how gorgeous this dress is in person. I think most people would be astounded by the amount of embroidered dresses that only carry the print on the front. Um last I checked clothing has more than one side.

Moving on from the dress, I have by DYING to pair this vintage emerald green topcoat with something just as fabulous. I actually found this one-of-a-kind piece at one of my favorite Milwaukee antique stores, Antiques on Pierce. Aside from it being in perfect condition, and being my size, this coat was made in Milwaukee at a store now long gone. I love having this little piece of Milwaukee fashion history in my closet.

And last but certainly not least, my handbag. I am obsessing over the clear bag trend and I knew I needed this bag as soon as I saw Blair Eadie of the blog Atlantic Pacific carrying it. I love the fact I get to use my clutches and evening bags more, by slipping them into this Loeil Besse Bag

Now let’s talk about the location of this fabulous photoshoot. I was invited to participate in the latest Blogger Collab Day that was held at Kohler’s American Club. The American Club is simply gorgeous, and a true gem in Wisconsin. If anyone is looking for a little staycation, the American Club has it all, including a world-class spa, onsite restaurants, and this quaint greenhouse coffee shop that is covered in stained glass. I can’t wait to make my next trip up to the American Club!
