FASHION, STYLE

It’s better to be wild than boring

“It’s better to be wild than boring,” man if this statement isn’t true. Fashion has always been a way to express myself, and I love that fashion is always changing. From a young age I was cutting up clothing to make it my own, stealing my mom’s wardrobe, mixing & matching, you name it I have probably done it. I was so excited to see Leopard print making a come back this season; was definitely one of my favorite trends of the 90’s (that and butterfly clips).  I have found that styling leopard into a simple outfit seems to just bring your look to the next level. From a simple loafer, to a scarf, leopard adds just the right of pop!

Leopard Block Heal: First up an all black outfit, with a leopard block heel. These shoes give the perfect pop to any outfit. Even though these Ann Taylor heels are from last season, but don’t worry there is a similar style this season.

Leopard Scarf: I am a sucker for a good scarf, when I saw this in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this year, I knew I had to have it. I may love leopard, but I am very picky about the pattern. It has to be the perfect balance of real leopard pattern and attitude.

Leopard blouse: This blouse has been in and out of stock all season, and I was so pumped to grab this. An easy piece to dress up with heels and a blazer or dress down with a sweater and loafers. Such a perfect transition piece.

Shop my whole looks: Nordstrom BP. Blouse, Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats, Madewell Black Cardigan, Dooney & Bourke Satchel

Leopard Loafer: Can there not be anything more perfect. First off, I am a big loafer fan, but the fact that I can pair these with jeans and a white shirt or dress them up with a blazer, I love it.

Leopard Cape: Last but certainly not least, the show stopper, a leopard cape! I was in search of a leopard cape, and came across this vintage beauty on Etsy. This is definitely one of my favorite pieces of vintage clothing I own. A cape adds so much drama to any outfit, but the leopard just brings this to a whole new level.
